LMB Round-up: Conspiradores Outlast Bravos in 23-Run Offensive Shootout

The Diablos Rojos del México unleashed an overwhelming 14-run offense to defeat rivals Tigres, while the Guerreros de Oaxaca relied on stellar pitching for a 2-0 shutout over Yucatán.




The Mexican Baseball League (LMB) featured high-scoring spectacles alongside clinical defensive displays in an action-packed schedule. Headlining the offensive displays, the Diablos Rojos del México dismantled their historic rivals, the Tigres de Quintana Roo, in a commanding 14-5 blowout victory.


In stark contrast, a masterclass on the mound defined the clash in Oaxaca, where the Guerreros secured a tight 2-0 shutout win against the Leones de Yucatán. Meanwhile, an unpredictable slugfest broke out in Querétaro, as the Conspiradores outlasted the Bravos de León 12-11 in an chaotic match that combined for 23 total runs.


One-run margins decided several hard-fought games across the country. The Tecos de los Dos Laredos edged out the Dorados de Chihuahua 8-7, while Caliente de Durango defended their home turf with a 7-6 win over the Rieleros de Aguascalientes. Similarly, El Águila de Veracruz secured a close 3-2 victory against the Pericos de Puebla.


Rounding out the daily slate, the Olmecas de Tabasco defeated the Piratas de Campeche 6-1, and the Algodoneros de Unión Laguna handled business on the road by topping the Sultanes de Monterrey 5-3.
