Cristiano Ronaldo delivered another defining performance in his legendary career, scoring twice as Al Nassr FC defeated Damac 4-1 to clinch the Saudi Pro League title.
The win allowed Al Nassr to finish the season with 86 points, narrowly ahead of Al Hilal SFC in one of the closest title races in recent Saudi football history.
Ronaldo played a decisive role in the championship victory, finding the net twice during the second half. His goals included a powerful free kick and a close-range finish that sealed the result and sparked celebrations across Riyadh.
Sadio Mané and Kingsley Coman also contributed goals in a match that finally delivered the league title Al Nassr had pursued since Ronaldo’s arrival in 2023.
The championship marks Ronaldo’s first Saudi league title and his second trophy with Al Nassr after previously winning the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023.
It also ends a lengthy club title drought for the Portuguese star, whose last major club trophy came with Juventus in the 2021 Coppa Italia.
Ronaldo now owns 34 official titles across a remarkable career that has included spells with Manchester United FC, Real Madrid CF, Juventus FC, Sporting CP and the Portugal national football team.
The next challenge for Ronaldo will likely be the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which could become the sixth and final World Cup appearance of his historic career.
